I love shooting event style photography. Being able to tell the story through photographs of an organization's event or someone's celebration is one of my great joys as a photographer. In addition to event style photography I am available to shoot a wide variety of assignments including but not limited to live or promotional photographs for musicians and helping models build their portfolios. I have been taking photographs since my father gave me his Kodak Brownie when I was about 8 years old. As a teen I would sneak my 110 pocket instamatic into rock concerts and my first musician photographs were of KISS, Cheap Trick, and Van Halen.

Many years after those early photos musicians remain one of my key subjects. Being a musician myself I know the importance of capturing images which convey the emotions the artist is expressing. My photographs have been featured in print publications such as On Tap, the Washington City Paper as well as other publications and web sites. Both Jane Weidlin of the Go Gos and Marky Ramone have photographs I have shot on their Myspace pages. My passion for travel has allowed me to photograph landmarks as well as everyday life across the USA and Eastern Europe.

In 2004 I had the opportunity to combine my love of rock and roll with glamour photography when I was asked to photograph the cover of the Daycare Swindlers final CD entitled The Morning After. I photographed model Amber G at the Tabard Inn in Washington, DC for the cover photo. It was a thrill to see their fans snatching up copies at the CD release party held at the 9:30 club.

I am currently doing freelance photography for the K Street Lounge. With my camera I document the mixing and mingling of guests at one of Washington's hottest night spots.
